By December 11, 2015 No Comments

A: Prisoners will only be moved from one facility to another to conduct a live lineup, if the prisoner is suspected of notorious crime such as murder, serial rape, etc. or to have a test on their hair or blood. If translation is needed or it is a time sensitive matter, the detective sections lieutenant will deal with the issue

B: If the above situation occurs, the officer or detective will talk to the jail supervisor, who is responsible for moving the prisoner.

C: The officer or detective will then go to the jail supervisor office to sign the checkout log, and then take custody of the prisoner.

D: Prisoners with a lessor offense can be interviewed or checked out from the jail. To make the process quicker, officers should inform the facility ahead of time so the prisoner is ready.
