Raul Natera

Raul Natera was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and emigrated to the United States in 1994. He grew up in Fort Worth, Texas where he graduated from Paschal High School as a national merit scholar. He then enrolled at Louisiana State University’s Honors College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he double majored in History and Political Science. Raul attended law school at the Columbus school of law in Washington, D.C. As an immigrant, Raul is passionate about advocating on behalf of this underserved community. While he was in law school, Raul volunteered with Catholic Charities in providing immigrants with low-cost legal services and spoke with members of congress on the benefits of creating more pathways to citizenship for the immigrant community. Since graduating from law school in 2018, Raul moved back to Fort Worth and is now an attorney and a member of the Texas Mexico Law team. 

Raul handles affirmative immigration cases before the United States Citizen and Immigration Services, as a well as defensive immigration cases with the Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review, in Dallas, Texas.

When he is not passionately advocating for our clients, Raul enjoys playing basketball, fishing, playing the saxophone and guitar, regular travel to his adoptive home in New Orleans, Louisiana, and spending time with his two dogs, Sonny and Ziggy.
