A: Cops that get a missing person’s report on somebody who is 18 or older should get told that they’re listed as a missing person when they’re found by a cop.
The cop isn’t allowed to arrest them, unless they have a warrant or the person is doing something illegal of course. If the cop leaves without arresting the person, they should write down where they found them and what they learned.
