Failure to Return Loaned/Borrowed Vehicles

A: When somebody complains that they haven’t had a car brought back to them after loaning it, they can file it as stolen, but they also have to pay for a wrecker or having it impounded if they have to.

B: A missing car isn’t an offense until they find out it actually was stolen, and then the case should get updated to show that they’re dealing with a crime. Things like repair charges not getting paid, payments stopping, or a married couple arguing over who owns a car isn’t a crime and the cops don’t have to deal with things like that.
