A: Cars that are kept at the auto pound will get more fees as time goes on, based on the rates set by the city, but there’s also state laws to give a maximum for the rates.
B: Cars that have a police hold on them won’t get fees while the hold is still on it. After the hold is taken off, the auto pound will get a call with the owner info and telling them it can be taken whenever. Whoever made the call then has to add that the hold was taken off to the file, with basic info on the process.
C: After they’re told to take the hold off, auto pound workers can process the car as they normally do.
