Too Stupid by Jay Goodman

I have talked a lot about why I believe no one gets rehabilitated inside the Federal Bureau of Prisons. In my opinion the prison system does not want any man or woman who enters its doors to be rehabilitated. The people running this place, I am sure will point to the many programs and say, look at all these different courses, but if a person was to look at how these programs are run, they would see that they are trash. I also want to be honest and say, I don’t know if there are better programs at other prisons, but from everything I see here, there’s nothing that is going to really help prisoners change and now the prison system is going to start handing out Suboxone, I truly believe the recidivism rate is going to get much worse. Whoever came up with giving prisoners synthetic heroin and those thinking it’s going to make things better have lost their minds.

A drug is a drug, what is the difference in someone addicted to heroin or synthetic heroin? They both have a physical addiction. It would seem to me that the Federal Prison System’s number one goal should be to rehabilitate the prisoners from using drugs, not giving them something that will keep them in a mental state of addiction, but let’s put that to the side for a moment. While I believe it’s crazy to give prisoners synthetic heroin, it’s also crazy that the prisoners are so weak minded that they won’t take this opportunity to stop using drugs. I get everyone likes to use the word addict or that the so-called professionals love to say addiction is a disease. I am far from being a doctor, but I have had more experience around drugs than most doctors will ever have in their life. As for drugs being a disease, I believe that about as much as I believe I am going to the moon today. Let’s take a serious look at doctors and the drug industry. Doctors and the drug industries have both been caught abusing their positions, back in the 60’s and 70’s, the pharmaceutical industry started mass producing different forms of speed and they gave kickbacks to all of the doctors who would prescribe speed to people that were overweight and within a short period of time the word spread and everyone was going to see the doctors all over our country wanting speed. The doctors and the pharmaceutical companies made more money than any of us will ever see. Then in the 1990’s, heroin made a huge comeback and a lot of that was because the pharmaceutical companies and the doctors once again teamed up and started pushing OxyContin on everyone across America. Truthfully, they are responsible for the outbreak of opioids in this country, they arrested many doctors and the company that produced OxyContin had to pay out hundreds of millions of dollars. It’s like the so-called professionals who run the diet industry, every one of them had a special plan.

I cannot begin to tell everyone reading this how many times I’ve heard these professionals say, “We have a revolutionary breakthrough that will burn fat and help you lose weight.�? The diet industry is a trillion dollar a year business, but you won’t hear them say, look, there is no quick fix if you want to lose weight, there’s only one solution, stop being a bunch of weak-minded people and stop eating like a pig and that’s all there is to it, either you’re going to stop being some weak minded idiot who eats like a pig or you get off of your fat ass, start exercising and change how you eat. Now you will lose weight and get in good shape, but the doctors and professionals will never tell you this because they make too much money selling you all the bullshit that has never worked and never will work. If it did, the whole world would look perfect. This is exactly how I feel about doctors and professionals saying addicts have a disease. Of course, they tell everyone this bullshit, they first pamper the addicts with words like, “Don’t beat yourself up, addiction is a disease, there is hope.�?

Now this hope is we have this drug treatment center that cost twenty or thirty thousand dollars a month, maybe more, especially if they see you have money or a good insurance company and in some cases these doctors who own these treatment centers get state and federal funding for the poor. They of course will say we see you have an opioid problem and we know you’re feeling sick, so we are going to put you on Methadone or Suboxone. This will stop the pain you are feeling and sure enough it will stop the pain but all these doctors did was take you off one addictive drug and put you on another highly addictive drug. Of course, the difference is now instead of the addict paying the dealer, the doctors and pharmaceutical companies get the money. These doctors keep telling the addicts and their families that you have a disease, there’s nothing to be ashamed about. Just like the diet industry, they will never tell everyone who is overweight the truth. They have to stop eating like a pig and start working out, but they won’t because all of the people who buy their product would stop. It’s the same with the drug addicts instead of using the Methadone and the Suboxone to wean them off heroin, they keep them on this shit for the rest of their lives, when in all reality the doctors should be slowly getting them off of these as well.

To show everyone it’s about the money, why would the Federal Bureau of Prisons come inside their prison system and put prisoners on Suboxone? A lot of these men have been clean for years but all of a sudden you decide to put them on an addictive drug, when they should be telling them “Look stupid, most heroin these days is cut with Fentanyl, over a hundred thousand people are dying every year from drug overdoses, you will have to make a decision, either you grown up, become a man or more than likely you’ll end up dead. The best you can hope for is coming back here.�? The Federal Bureau of Prisons did not start this Suboxone program because they feel sorry for you and want to help you, they understand there is a bunch of weak-minded men and women in here. They know you are so weak minded that you’re too stupid to take advantage of this time. Instead of reading books that will help you mentally or that will help you when you leave, you would rather sit around reading some kind of fantasy shit or read those garbage ass hood books. They know you won’t take advantage of using this time to work out, because you are busy getting high. No wonder the prison system is giving all you weak minded idiots Suboxone, and you are all lining up like cattle, thinking you’re getting over on the system, but the whole time they are laughing at you while they line their pockets with money. It’s so pathetic and all of you are too stupid to see the truth.
